Zalayeta “Panteron” crushed Palermo

November 8, 2009, during its centenary season, the Bologna tackled the Palermo at the Dall’Ara Stade. Franco Colomba ‘s guys were living a particular and bad moment and it was mirrored in the classification: the Red-blue stood in the bottom and dangerous division. The challenge against the Pink-black was really important as just was of a cross-roads. Indeed, The challenge could have given vigour or fresh air to the Bologna as they could probably relegate. So, in that occasion the coach Colomba dared a really courageous team line-up made up of two forwards Zalayeta and Di Vaio and Adailton was freely to play.

JUST A SPOT OF PLAY-PLAY

At the first time the Pink-black complained two penalties but the referee Celi from Campobasso didn’t notice. After several troubled actions , the match beacame more and more bright at 15′ of the first time when the Pink-black Miccoli (34′ and 38′) worried Viviano with two kicks which brushed the goalposts saved by the Red-blue goalkeeper. Just few minutes before the end of the first time, here is Marco Di Vaio fought in the Pink-Black box. After drawing the opposing defenders onto him, Marco passed the ball to Zalayeta who had no any kind difficulties, so “Panteron” scored Sirigu. Yet, Colomba’s guys didn’t have the time to welcome as the Palermo by Kjaer scored nearby by taking advantage of the imprudence of the Red-blue defence by penalty. Just the time to kick in the middle of the pitch and the referee sent the players into the changing rooms.

After just 5 minutes of the second time, the Bologna scored a goal. Mingazzini passed to Zalayeta – offside edge – and Zalayeta scored a strong goal doing two own goals. The Bologna took the lead and managed carefully the match and just during the extra time at 92′ the Pink-black tried to do the best by a prolonged action but failed to equalize. After it, at 94′ Mingazzini passed to Di Vaio who dribbled Sirigu and he failed the goal. Yet, he scored the goal 3-1 by an unpredictable position.

By this win gained against a really superior opponent, the Bologna progressed in the table getting out of the most dangerous rear positions of the classification.
